Football 8v8 Formation Creator
Eight-a-side sits between a small-sided game and a full back four. You place eight players here: the goalkeeper plus seven. A 3-3-1 gives you two banks of three. A 2-3-2 keeps width in the last line. A 3-2-2 is the compact choice when the pitch is narrow. Switch presets to compare shapes without retyping names.

FAQ
- Why isn’t there a back four in the 8v8 presets?
- A back four plus goalkeeper leaves only three players ahead. Use 3-3-1 or 3-2-2 as the start, then drag a midfielder into the defensive line if you want four defenders.
- Will switching presets wipe names?
- Choosing a preset reloads positions and shirt numbers for a clean shape. Edit names after the shape is right, or undo to step back.
