Premier League Player Pizza Charts
A pizza chart (radar profile) shows how a Premier League player ranks on multiple season metrics at once. Each spoke is a percentile within a defined comparison population — not arbitrary scaled scores.

Metrics explained
- What a player pizza chart is
- A multi-metric radar where each axis is that player's percentile (0–100) among eligible Premier League players for the current season.
- Comparison population
- By default: same-position players (or all outfield players) who meet the minimum-minutes threshold. Goalkeepers use a separate metric set.
- Minimum minutes
- The default adapts to how far the season has progressed (never a hard-coded 900 early in the campaign). Raise it as more minutes accumulate.
How this tool works
- Pick a player (or open a player-specific pizza URL).
- Set a minimum-minutes filter so short samples do not distort percentiles.
- Read percentiles on the radar and raw season totals in the metric table.
- Export the chart image or CSV of underlying values.
Methodology & data coverage
- Competition
- Premier League
- Season
- 2026/27
- Data coverage
- PlayerSeasonStats for the active season. Only players meeting the adaptive minimum-minutes threshold are listed for indexing.
- Statistics included
- goals, goalAssists, expectedGoals, expectedAssists, totalShots, shotsOnTargetIncGoals, keyPassesAttemptAssists, totalPasses, touches, successfulDribbles, totalTackles, interceptions, totalClearances, blocks (and GK set when applicable).
- Aggregation
- Percentiles within the filtered Premier League population for the selected season.
- Not Opta/StatsBomb pizza charts.
- MatchPlayerStats are too thin for rich pizza metrics — season grain only.

Are these official Opta or StatsBomb pizza charts?
No. Values come from Premier League season statistics ingested by CrunchClash (Pulse Live SDP).
Why is the minimum minutes below 900?
Early in a season few players reach 900 minutes. The default scales with the current season maximum so charts remain usable without emptying the population.
Missing metrics show as N/A?
Yes. We never invent values. Sparse source JSON zeros are treated as 0 for ranking within the population; subjects without a season row show N/A.
